2007 Napa Valley Merlot The 2006 growing season provided a perfectly balanced, seductively warm luscious Merlot that has aromas of dark berry fruit that is married brilliantly with the sweet flavors of ripe dark cherries, mocha and blackberries, accented by the perfect spicing of oak. The wine is made by the talented winemaker Phillip Corallo-Titus. This sensual wine is an ideal companion to roast chicken, beef kabobs, or a rosemary scented butterflied leg of lamb. The depth of the wine allows for hedonistic drinking as an aperitif instead of the usual choice of white wine. The blend is 89% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec. Available nationally
