The Mariner is a classic blend of five Bordeaux varieties. Dominating the mix is Cabernet Sauvignon 46%, Merlot 40%, followed by Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The aromas of dark berries, dried fruit and the undertone of chocolate are very seductive. The wine is mouth filling with succulent dark flavors that marry well with soft silky smooth tannins. The use of French Oak gives the wine a balance of creamy touches of vanilla oak that pair this classic to a broad selection of foods.
